Is it necessary to have a driving licence to drive the buggy?

Yes, it is essential to present a valid B driving license. Only those over 18 years of age with a valid license will be able to drive the buggy during the route.

Can I take the tour if I don't want to drive?

Of course. You can participate as a companion without driving. It is an equally exciting experience and perfect for enjoying the scenery.

Is it a safe activity?

Yes. Before starting, a short training is carried out on the handling of the buggy and safety rules. All vehicles are insured and have up-to-date checks. In addition, the tour is always guided by a professional monitor.

What do you visit during the buggy tour of the Bardenas?

We travel through some of the most iconic areas of the Bardenas Reales Natural Park, such as Cabezo de Castildetierra, La Blanca Baja, canyons and unique semi-desert areas. Always respecting the permitted paths and the regulations of the park.

How long does the activity last?

The usual duration of the buggy tour is 4 and a half hours, including the initial training, the guided tour and stops for photos and interpretation of the environment.

What clothing or material should I bring?

It is recommended to come with comfortable clothes and closed shoes. In summer, it is also advisable to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and water. In winter, coat and gloves, as the wind can be intense.

Is there a limit to the number of seats per buggy?

Yes. We have buggies for 2, 4 and 6 seats, so we can adapt to different group sizes. Each vehicle has a certain maximum capacity and is not allowed to exceed it for safety reasons. If you are a large group, we will distribute you in several buggies according to availability.

Can children participate?

Yes, as long as they are accompanying and are more than 1.20 m tall. The activity is not recommended for children under 6 years old or people with back problems.

Can the activity be suspended due to bad weather?

Yes. In the event of heavy rain or adverse weather conditions, the activity will be rescheduled or an alternative will be offered, always with prior notice to the client.

Is it allowed to circulate freely in the Bardenas?

No. The Bardenas Reales are a protected natural area. You can only ride on authorized paths and always respecting the rules of the park. That is why it is important to do the activity with professional guides authorized as Activa Experience.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of the reservation:

– Up to 48 hours before the start of the activity: no cancellation fees

– Within 48 hours prior to the start of the activity: 100% cancellation fee.

-Sometimes, weather conditions can complicate the route, and it will be the company’s decision whether to leave or cancel, after a risk assessment. Sometimes, such as the storm forecast, a time change will be suggested. In these cases, the customer will be offered another date/time based on the weather forecast. If a postponement is not possible in the short term, a voucher will be offered to exchange for the same experience valid for one year.

Safety conditions

Drivers must be over 18 years of age with a valid driving license in the territory of Spain at the time of the route.

We recommend a wrap or panties because of the dust, sunscreen and sunglasses.

Be prepared for possible rain with a raincoat or clothes to change into afterwards. We may encounter mud and puddles.
Wear warm clothes in the winter months (during the buggy ride the wind chill drops).

The rides will depart on time, so you must be at the meeting point at the scheduled time.

– ACTIVA EXPERIENCE carries out guided tours with approved buggies duly checked by our mechanical engineers and in perfect operation.

– The client agrees to accept the decisions of the guide/monitor and to follow his instructions at all times to ensure the safety and fluidity of the activity.

– If the client does not meet the minimum necessary physical and technical conditions, they may be denied participation in the activity, modify or delay the schedule of the same.

– Both the driver and the passenger declare that they are perfectly aware that such motorised activity entails a risk and that they agree to take responsibility for damages not covered by ACTIVA EXPERIENCE policies.

– Our insurance covers the driver’s civil liability, the civil liability of the company Activa Experience, passengers, accidents and rescue

– Own damages, i.e. those caused to Activa Experience vehicles, are not covered, which will be paid by the driver at the end of the activity unless there is a third party responsible for the accident.

– We ask you to pay special attention to the recommendations of the guide and to respect the instructions given.

– Our service is active tourism routes along authorized paths and not in a closed circuit. Therefore, all safety regulations must be followed, as well as prohibitions (no skidding, speed limitations, no overtaking vehicles, etc.).
